Welcome to Shed Therapy
Shed Therapy aims to teach and popularize green woodworking and bread baking.
From whittling a wooden butter-spreader to turning bowls on the foot-powered lathe or hand-forging simple tools, we can get you started with our courses and demonstrations.
Since folk generally come out of our sheds happier than when they went in, we call these activities Shed Therapy. It is cheaper than other forms of therapy, plus you have some tangible things to show for your time.
If you like doing stuff in your own or someone else’s shed, consider yourself a shed-therapist. (There are no exams to pass!)
We regularly run Public Courses, covering everything from Stool Making to Saw Filing, and from Bowl Making to Bread Baking.
We can also offer a day tailored to you and your family – making candle-holders, tent-pegs, butter-spreaders, or wooden hammers, and much more besides.
